Leslie is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of nonprofit, community development and sales experience. She is the CEO of Daisy Ventures LLC which is the parent company for three other service businesses: Ebony Queen Travel - where she is credentialled travel agent for a full-service travel agency specializing in groups and life-changing travel experiences for women over 40; Leslie Andrews Consulting – specializing in nonprofit development and training; and Leslie Speaks! – delivering motivational and corporate speeches for professional and nonprofit audiences.

In her professional role based in New York City as the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Partnerships and Advancement for the National Urban League, she is the lead philanthropic officer for a five-year, $100 million grant from the Lilly Endowment and manages a portfolio of 24 Fortune 100 corporate donors which generates over 3 million dollars a year.

She continues to mentor numerous nonprofit leaders, college and high school students, and young women in the areas of entrepreneurship, personal branding and business strategies, as well as navigating the workforce. She currently serves on six community boards, including in the role of board chair for a community development corporation serving Detroit neighborhoods, and as a trustee for Detroit’s largest hospital system.

Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia and Masters of Business Administration from Northcentral University (AZ).
